Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering comprehensive mental health services.

The role includes interviews, diagnostic testing, individual/family/group psychotherapy, and collaboration on evidence-based treatment plans at the Salt Lake Clinic. The position operates Monday–Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and mandatory credentialing.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a psychologist in the state(s) where patient care is delivered.
• PSYPACT eligible or PSYPACT authorization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s medical and mental health history and current presentation to determine treatment needs.
• Diagnoses and treats mental, emotional and behavioral disorders, including psychotherapy or testing.
• Develops a care plan with input from patient, family/significant others, physicians and the health team.
• Provides treatment based on patient needs and evidence-based interventions.
• Refers patients to community services, programs, support groups, or other mental health providers as needed.
• Documents pertinent information regarding the patient’s plan of care.
• Consults with the multidisciplinary team to develop treatment, behavior and discharge plans.
