The APRN - NP Specialty for Palliative Care provides acute healthcare services for palliative and cancer patients. The APRN will see patients in clinic and round on Mount Carmel Hospitals. The primary shift is Day, Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with an occasional Saturday shift.
Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Current Ohio RN license as APRN; BLS; DEA license if required. 2–3 years APP experience in Palliative Care preferred, with strong communication skills.
The APRN - NP Specialty for Palliative Care provides acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This APRN will manage the care of palliative, cancer patients. They will see patients in clinic and round on patients in the Mount Carmel Hospitals. The primary shift will be Day, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with an occasional Saturday shift.
Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. BLS provider certification required Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Minimum of 2-3 years recent and relevant APP experience in Palliative Care is higher preferred Effective Communication Skills
