Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in NP from NLN/AACN accredited program.
- Current NJ RN license with NP authority.
- Board certification as NP (AANP/ANCC).
- Prescriptive authority in NJ with CDS/DEA registrations.
- BLS certification from AHA.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments for appropriate age groups.
- Order, perform, and interpret labs and diagnostic studies with physicians.
- Manage general medical/surgical conditions with evidence-based care.
- Prescribe medications safely, with patient education.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination.
- Mentor APNs, precept students, and contribute to education.
- Promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
