Job summary

HopeHealth, Inc. is seeking an experienced Palliative Nurse Practitioner for its hospice and palliative care affiliate in Rhode Island. This full-time role requires collaboration with physicians, consultants, and families to relieve suffering for seriously ill patients.

Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 annually, with hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including coverage for South County Hospital in Rhode Island. Experience in geriatrics, hospice, or oncology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing.
• FNP/ANP certification, RI MA licenses and prescriptive authority.
• Experience in palliative care and pain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for seriously ill adults in various settings.
• Conduct pain assessments and symptom management recommendations.
• Assess disease trajectory and discuss goals of care with patients and families.
• Coordinate care with referring providers and facilities to improve outcomes.
