Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Dallas, TX. This is a piece-rate position with an hourly base pay of $17.00 per hour plus additional piece-rate earnings.

The role involves assembling and repairing wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood, following safety protocols and producing high-quality pallets for customers. The shift is Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 1:30pm, at our Dallas facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Effective communication with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with a nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished pallets by hand for forklift operators to move to the appropriate areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain high quality while handling a high volume of finished goods.
