48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Repairer in Pennsylvania. The role involves assembling, repairing pallets from fresh or recycled wood, and maintaining safety and quality while handling a high volume of pallets. This is a piece-rate environment with hourly pay.

Shifts run on 1st shift from 6:00am, with overtime as needed. Benefits include paid time off, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and advancement opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods
