Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Pallet Repairer for a piece-rate position. You will build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood, earning $14.00 per hour plus a piece rate. 1st shift runs Mon–Fri 6:00am–2:30pm, at 550 Canino Rd, Houston.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift pallets around 50 lbs. Prior lumber/warehouse/construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and assemble pallets with nail gun.
• Stack finished pallets for forklift movement to appropriate areas.
• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain high quality while handling a high volume of pallets.
