48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Irving, TX. You will assemble and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood, earning hourly pay plus a piece rate based on output.

This is a first-shift, union-style workflow with safety as a priority. Responsibilities include receiving wood, stringer assembly with a nail gun, stacking pallets for forklift movement, and maintaining high quality at high volume.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following procedures.
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods.
