Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Indianapolis, IN to assemble and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This piece-rate position also offers hourly pay, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

You will receive wood, nail components, and assemble pallets, while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards for a high-volume operation. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and effective communication for team coordination.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience preferred.
Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
Ensure safety by following all company procedures.
Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods.
