Job summary

Krueger International (KI) seeks a Fabrication Technician for its Green Bay, WI manufacturing facility on 1st shift. Starting pay is $19/hour with a $1.00/hour raise within the first year.

The role involves operating metal fabrication equipment, performing quality inspections and handling tools in the cell. We value mechanically inclined, team-oriented individuals who are willing to learn, can train on any shift, and maintain a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of the components being produced.
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses.
• Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Job Duties

The Fabrication technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced. This position is also responsible for:

• Quality inspection of the components being produced
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses...
• Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 1st shift position
• Hours are 6am-2pm Monday - Friday
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour
• Overtime during busy season
