Job summary

Astro Shapes LLC is seeking a Paintline Supervisor to lead our Operations team on the production floor, driving safety, quality, productivity, and customer service. You will provide front-line leadership for production employees and maintain a visible presence on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or industrial production experience.
• Previous leadership, team lead, trainer, or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and drive accountability.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and ensure policy compliance.
• Direct daily production activities to meet schedule and customer requirements.
• Assign and coordinate work based on priorities and staffing needs.
• Monitor productivity, quality, downtime, scrap, and labor utilization.
• Coach, train, and develop employees to support team success.
• Conduct shift communication meetings and reinforce expectations.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on attendance and performance matters.
• Support lean improvements, 5S, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Scheduling, Shipping to meet plant objectives.
