Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. seeks a Paint Lead to assist the Paint Supervisor on the 1st shift. You will guide Paint Line Technicians, ensure proper racking and schedule adherence, and coordinate with production control for timely order readiness.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment and processes, supporting continuous improvement, and upholding quality and safety standards across the paint operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with management and peers.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate work with other departments.
• Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently.
• Knowledge of basic print reading and torque values.
• Know when to escalate issues needing additional technical or leadership support.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in directing and guiding Paint Line Technicians.
• Coordinate with Materials Handling and Production Control to ensure orders are ready for assembly.
• Provide input on schedules to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Monitor equipment, pretreatment, conveyors, wastewater treatment, and cure ovens; support trouble-shooting.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards; follow company policies.
