Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial painting experience.
  • Foreman or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coatings, finishes, and application techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate commercial painting crews on active job sites
  • Plan daily work activities to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project scopes
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications
  • Train, mentor, and oversee painters and laborers
  • Monitor job site safety and enforce OSHA safety requirements
  • Perform and oversee surface preparation including patching, sanding, masking, caulking, and priming
  • Apply paints, coatings, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Operate and maintain commercial painting equipment including sprayers and lifts
  • Identify and complete punch list items
  • Track labor, materials, and equipment needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site

Job Summary:

  • Experience operating lifts and other job site equipment preferred
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying job site conditions
