DREAM COATINGS INC in California is seeking a residential/commercial painter to prepare and perform exterior and interior painting tasks in a commercial and industrial setting. You will apply coatings with brushes, rollers, and sprayers, ensuring durable finishes and high-quality workmanship.

You are an experienced painter who values safety, communicates clearly with customers, and takes pride in delivering a job done right.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of equipment

Responsibilities

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, Sprayer, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
