Aerotek in Minnesota is seeking a General Production Worker for the paint line. You will load parts onto the line, prep surfaces, and assist with powder coat and wet paint processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
This contract-to-hire role is onsite in Owatonna with a full-time schedule, possible overtime on Fridays, and paid lunches. The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn paint application techniques.
The General Production Worker supports the paint line operations by loading and unloading parts and assisting with paint preparation and application. This role focuses on powder coat and wet paint processes, ensuring parts are properly handled, staged, and prepared for assembly and shipping. The position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn paint application techniques or who brings previous experience in powder coating or wet paint application.

This role is based on a manufacturing floor and requires comfort working in a team-oriented production setting. The facility is not climate controlled, so it can be cool during winter and hot in summer, with large fans running during warmer months to improve comfort. The team culture emphasizes that everyone pulls their weight and takes ownership of their work, treating quality and efficiency as a direct reflection of individual effort. Work hours follow one of two shifts5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Monday through Thursday, each including a 30-minute paid lunch, with overtime on Fridays and additional overtime as needed.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
