Job summary

Leer Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a reliable 2nd shift painter/prep technician to join our manufacturing team. You will prep units, paint, and maintain equipment on the assembly line, while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

This is an employee-owned company offering strong benefits and ESOP participation. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50–100 lbs, and willingness to work a schedule set by supervision, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must follow all safety procedures and requirements.
• Must be cooperative and self-motivated.
• Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to operate painting equipment and washers.
• Must be able to wear safety gear including half-mask respirators.

Responsibilities

• Prep units, wash and inspect for dents, tape breakers, follow paperwork.
• Paint units and change out paints.
• Clean paint and wash equipment; repair damaged units.
• Use putty and fillers and perform Paint PMs.
• Work on front assembly line as required.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
