Job summary

Leer, Inc. in New Lisbon, WI is hiring a Painter for the 2nd shift. You will prep, paint, and assemble units, maintain safety procedures, and support continuous improvement on the front assembly line as needed.

Qualifications

• Must understand and follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements.
• Must possess a cooperative attitude and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to understand and execute instructions.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment including hood and half masks.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50–100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prep units including washing, drying seams, dents, and taping breakers.
• Paint units and change out paints.
• Clean paint and wash equipment and repair damaged units.
• Use putty and fillers and perform paint PMs.
• Conduct paint inventory and assist on front assembly line as needed.
