Job summary

Leer Inc. is seeking a painter at the Merchandiser facility in New Lisbon, WI. The role involves prepping, washing, painting, and repairing units, plus loading on the front assembly line as needed.

You’ll work a 2nd shift (1:00pm - 9:30pm) in a warm environment and support a team that values safety, reliability, and independence. Leer Inc. is 100% employee‑owned with an ESOP, offering comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on team success.

Qualifications

• Must follow all safe operating procedures and requirements.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated and able to understand and execute instructions.
• Experience operating washer and painting equipment.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Able to wear safety equipment including breathable hood and half masks.

Responsibilities

• Prep units, wash units, dry seams, check for dents and repair as needed.
• Paint units and change out paints as required.
• Clean paint and wash equipment after use.
• Repair damaged units and use putty/fillers as needed.
• Perform Paint PMs and conduct paint inventory.
• Follow supervisor direction and work on assembly line as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
