Description

Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00

Part Time: 20 Hours

GENERAL SCOPE: Includes painting surfaces, drywall repairs, wallpaper installation, tile work, flooring installations, and minor maintenance repairs.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or trade school experience.

Essential Functions

• Finish or refinish items with paint, varnish, epoxy, or other materials.
• Install, repair, and replace fixtures like doors, windows, and safety equipment.
• Repair wall coverings and prepare walls for new coverings.
• Plan and execute small to mid-sized painting projects.
• Repair and install tiles, ceilings, and flooring materials.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on painting and wall covering issues.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Understand building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and sewer maintenance.
• Plan work, calculate materials, and perform tasks efficiently.
• Design, build, and install special equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with tradesmen, mechanics, or staff as assigned.

Experience

At least four (4) years as a skilled painter. Experience with MS Office and Outlook preferred.
