Job Overview

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Painter for our Philadelphia, PA location. The painter will be responsible for interior and exterior painting, re-painting walls and ceilings, and addressing corrective maintenance issues promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Repaint damaged or deteriorated surfaces.
  2. Paint new work installed by others.
  3. Touch up painted areas.
  4. Clean and prepare painted areas.
  5. Work independently or with other staff as assigned.
  6. Report to supervisory personnel regarding material needs and project timelines.
  7. Perform light carpentry/masonry repairs as needed for painting.
  8. Install ceiling tiles, floor tiles, walls, and trim in assigned areas.
Qualifications
  • Basic literacy, strength, and dexterity for heavy lifting tasks.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School certification.
  • Own basic hand tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to read drawings and layouts.
  • Clear communication skills in English.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk long distances.
  • Ability to pass background, drug screening, and work in all climate conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime and in a correctional environment, which operates 24/7.
