Job description

University City Housing is a Philadelphia-based property management company with significant real estate holdings in and around the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Our current portfolio consists of 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space.

UCH is hiring a skilled Painter to join our team! We are seeking a talented and well-rounded individual to assist with renovations, make readies, and daily work orders.

Each day will vary, and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Working directly with residents and team members to perform painting and plastering
2. Maintaining service records
3. Renovating and getting homes ready for move-in
4. Ensuring successful completion of assignments
5. Snow removal
6. Preventative maintenance as needed

Our Painters must have the following skills:

1. Strong painting and plastering experience (2+ years)
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
3. Ability to prioritize urgent projects in a fast-paced environment
4. Strong communication skills (both written and spoken English)
5. A valid driver's license
6. Ability to move heavy equipment and machinery
7. Comfortable with heights and ladders
8. Willingness to work on call and during non-traditional hours
