Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Pittsfield, MA seeks a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers in person and over the phone, determine needs, and recommend the right product solutions. You will ensure satisfaction, process transactions, and support store operations to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities include tinting/mixing products, stocking displays, handling deliveries, and maintaining product knowledge to advise customers effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams candidates must meet performance expectations and HR eLearning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Assist in deliveries and unload/load delivery trucks.
