Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks a Customer Service Specialist to join Store #3902 at 1555 Fording Island Road, Hilton Head Island, SC. You will assist customers in person and by phone, recommend products, and drive sales while maintaining high store standards.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, stocking shelves, tinting/mixing products, and supporting deliveries. Prior experience in retail or paint is a plus; Spanish language skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year in delivery, retail, or customer service recommended.
• Experience selling paint or paint-related products is a plus.
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and offering appropriate products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with store policies.
• Aim to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate work order files and stock levels.
• Retrieve products from shelves or warehouse as needed.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; keep store equipment clean.
• Support deliveries and loading/unloading as needed.
