Job summary

Responsibilities include in-person and phone assistance, processing transactions, stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, and delivering friendly service that drives repeat business

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams: meets expectations rating on latest appraisal.
• Completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.
• Preferred: High School diploma and 1 year in delivery, retail or customer service.
• Experience selling paint or paint-related products.
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries when needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest improvements to sales.
