Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend right solutions. You will resolve customer concerns quickly and help maintain high product quality and store visuals.

Responsibilities include helping customers in person or over the phone, processing transactions, stocking and tinting products, and supporting deliveries while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams candidate: meets expectations rating (3) on most recent appraisal.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams: completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
