Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our Cedar Park, TX retail stores. You will help wholesale and retail customers identify needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions while maintaining store quality and sales goals.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing sales, tinting and mixing products, stocking displays, and ensuring excellent service with accuracy and security in handling payments and merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have a “meets expectations” rating on recent appraisal.
• Internal to Sherwin-Williams: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
