Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Wholesale Product Specialist to work at Store #8025 in Menands, NY. You will engage with commercial paint customers, determine needs, answer questions, and recommend solutions while ensuring high customer satisfaction and meeting store sales goals.

Responsibilities include handling sales transactions, stocking, tinting and mixing products, and assisting in deliveries. Strong product knowledge and multilingual ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams rating requirement: at least 'meets expectations'.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries when needed; discuss product options with customers.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
