Job summary

JCB North America in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Paint Shop Supervisor to lead and coordinate the safe, efficient operation of the paint shop and its equipment. You will monitor systems, perform daily checks, and escalate metrics to help the department hit business goals.

You will drive continuous quality improvements using SPC, develop SOPs, and train technicians, while partnering with maintenance and production teams to optimize processes and manage waste.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• 3+ years in paint/surface finishing environments.
• Strong knowledge of powder coating systems and shot blast.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations.
• Pass drug screen, background checks, and pre-employment tests.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise paint shop equipment.
• Verify and report process parameters.
• Lead root cause analysis for paint defects.
• Implement SPC to monitor paint process.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for paint processes.
• Support training of paint technicians.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams.
• Identify waste and drive continuous improvement.
