Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Front Royal, VA. The role focuses on operating production equipment, handling raw materials, and following detailed work instructions to ensure safe, quality manufacturing. A 12-hour rotating shift is required, with training on day shift for 60-90 days.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience; knowledge of hazardous materials is preferred, and a background check and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials or chemicals preferred.
• Ability to operate mechanical and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow batch cards, instructions, and SOPs to produce products.
• Measure and weigh raw materials for production.
• Adhere to plant safety standards and environmental policies.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste per site policies and training.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
• Utilize computer systems and production software to support operations.
• Maintain production quality records and documentation.
• Collaborate within a self-managed team and adapt to shifting priorities.
