Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Front Royal, VA to operate production equipment and handle raw materials within a 12-hour rotating shift. Training is 60–90 days on Day Shift, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and quality documentation.

Candidates must pass background checks and drug tests and have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience. The role emphasizes proper handling of hazardous materials, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow batch cards, instructions, and SOPs to manufacture products.
• Measure, weigh, and handle raw materials.
• Follow plant safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment.
• Use computer systems and production software to support operations.
• Maintain production quality and documentation.
• Work within a self-managed team and adapt to priorities.
