Job summary

Axalta seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Front Royal, VA to support the paint production line. You will operate bulk loading equipment, handle raw materials, and follow detailed work instructions to produce quality products safely and efficiently.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. A 12-hour rotating shift is required, with training on days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with hazardous materials or chemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow batch cards, written instructions, and SOPs to manufacture products.
• Measure, weigh, and handle raw materials.
• Follow plant safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste per policies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment.
• Use computer systems and production equipment software to support operations.
• Maintain production quality standards and documentation.
• Work collaboratively within a self-managed team environment.
• Adapt to changing production priorities and business needs.
