Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in Chillicothe, OH seeks a Manufacturing Technician for the overnight shift (10:30pm–7:00am). You will operate pumps, agitators, shakers, scales and related equipment safely, with emphasis on process control and housekeeping.

Top candidates will have a high school diploma, at least 3 years in an industrial setting, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work eight hours on their feet. Overtime and adherence to SOPs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills and ability to read SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Run pumps, agitators, shakers, scales and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load tanks from 5 to 500 gallons and perform housekeeping.
• Perform daily scale calibrations and viscosity measurements.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules and documentation; assist in training others.
