Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in High Point, NC is seeking a Production Technician for chemical mixing. The role supports 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training on the 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift after training completion.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a plant/manufacturing setting, with chemical experience a huge plus. A clean background/drug screen and basic math/reading assessment are required, along with a pre-employment physical.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus, training provided if needed.
• Chemicals experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend ingredients to meet production targets.
• Regulate machines and mix according to formulation batch cards.
• Maintain highest level of quality at all times and collect samples for laboratory testing.
• Clean machines and workstation after each job.
