  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment.
  • Use computer systems and production equipment software to support operations.
  • Maintain production quality standards and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively within a self-managed team environment.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and business needs.

Salary: $26.10 ($0.79 Shift Differential)

Experience: We are seeking candidates with at least 2 years’ Manufacturing experience. Experience with Hazardous Materials or Chemicals is highly preferred.

Job Description

In this role, you will support the manufacturing process by operating production equipment, handling raw materials, and following detailed work instructions to produce quality products safely and efficiently. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for adhering to plant safety standards, managing hazardous materials and waste, performing basic troubleshooting activities, and working collaboratively to meet production demands. This position requires the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow batch cards, written instructions, and standard operating procedures to accurately manufacture products.
  • Measure, weigh, and handle raw materials used in the production process.
  • Follow all plant safety standards, policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.
  • Safely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste according to site policies and training.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance activities on production equipment; advanced maintenance tasks as qualified.
  • Use computer systems and production equipment software to support manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain production quality standards and documentation requirements.
  • Work collaboratively within a self-managed team environment.
  • Adapt to changing production priorities and business needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of function-specific information systems.
  • Knowledge of the physical requirements for the area.
  • Skills to safely operate various pieces of mechanical equipment within site guidelines.
  • Skills to perform basic math calculations.
  • Skills to operate powered material handling equipment (PMHE) and obtain required licensing.
  • Ability to work in a self-managing team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry for short distances.
  • Ability to work in different temperature climates.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands.

This role is eligible for benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. The expected compensation for this position is $26.21 USD Hourly. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.
