Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join the manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. You will prepare, paint, and finish large steel products while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

2+ years of industrial coating experience is required; experience with epoxies and polyurethanes is preferred. Onsite, 5 days a week, with OT eligibility and a temp-to-hire path after 3+ months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial painting experience.
• Experience with industrial coatings such as epoxies or polyurethanes preferred.
• Experience painting large fabricated steel products or heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read measurements, work instructions and customer specs.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel and aluminum surfaces for painting via cleaning, masking, sanding, grinding, or blasting.
• Apply industrial coatings using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment.
• Paint large tanks, enclosures, and structural components according to specs.
• Mix and apply two-part paint systems; monitor coating thickness and finish.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance; perform touch-ups as needed.
• Troubleshoot paint applications and maintain equipment and workspace safety.
