Job summary

V2X in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Paint Prep Technician for the 2nd shift to support coating operations at our Modernization and Sustainment site. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and ensure adherence to specifications to deliver high-quality finishes.

Key responsibilities include surface preparation, masking, following routings and blueprints, and paying close attention to detail. Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance and work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Takes measures to ensure proper coating application and adherence to surface protection requirements.
• Pays close attention to detail to ensure precise coating application and avoid defects.
• Performs masking in appropriate locations to protect areas not intended for coating.
• Follows instructions provided through routings, blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
