Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Lansing, IL, seeks a Production Operator for our Large Paint Plant (LPP) on the 2nd shift. You will operate automated pail filling rooms, scales, mixers, and related equipment to fill batches and support other Ops areas.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment used to fill batches and support related production activities.
• Follow SOPs, batch tickets, process sheets and safety policies.
• Safely operate a forklift and handle materials efficiently.
• Utilize SAP, MS Access and MS Office to complete orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling equipment including automated pail filling systems and mixers.
• Fill finished goods into containers with correct IDs and labels.
• Move materials with a forklift and maintain production area housekeeping.
• Identify off-quality products and initiate corrective actions per procedures.
• Contribute to improvement teams and participate in cross-area tasks.
