Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Lansing, IL is seeking a Production Operator for the Small Paint Plant (SPP) on the 3rd shift. The role fills batches using automated pail filling, scales/load cells, mixers and related equipment, with duties across Operations.

You will follow SOPs, operate filling equipment, label containers, move materials with a forklift, and participate in improvement teams. Training on 1st or 2nd shift is required; equal opportunity employer with a comprehensive

Qualifications

Must be flexible to train on 1st or 2nd shift.
Experience operating automated pail filling systems and scales/load cells.
Able to safely operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

Follow and adhere to SOPs, batch tickets, process sheets, and safety policies.
Operate equipment used to fill batches, including automated pail filling systems, scales/load cells, mixers, filling pumps, and filling machines.
Fill finished goods into proper containers according to customer-specific IDs and prepare accurate container labels.
Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
Participate in improvement teams and contribute ideas.
Identify potential off-quality products and initiate corrective actions.
Utilize SAP and MS Access/MS Office to complete orders.
Maintain housekeeping and keep equipment in good condition.
