Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. in Lansing, IL is seeking a Production Operator to fill batches in the large paint plant, using the Automated Pail Filling Room and related equipment, while supporting other operations as needed.

The role requires following SOPs and safety policies, operating filling systems, moving materials with a forklift, labeling containers, and utilizing SAP, Access and Office to complete orders.

Qualifications

• Experience operating automated pail filling systems and production equipment.
• Ability to follow SOPs, process sheets and safety policies.
• Willingness to work third shift and support other operations areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to fill batches including automated pail filling systems and mixers.
• Load and label finished goods with correct customer IDs.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
• Use SAP, Access, and Office to complete production orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and work area.
• Support continuous improvement teams with ideas.
