Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s JLG operations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic to intermediate maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure with minimal supervision. This role includes scheduled and unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility support to ensure operational efficiency and workplace safety.

Based in Bedford, USA, you will maintain machinery such as CNC tools, forklifts, robots, and air systems, service HVAC and lighting,

Qualifications

Overtime availability as needed to meet production demands.
Regular on-site attendance is required.
Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts and power tools.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics/diagrams.
Basic PLC knowledge and electrical testing tools experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Maintain and repair CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, robots, welders and air systems.
Service HVAC, lighting, sprinklers, plumbing, and office fixtures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic or mechanical problems.
Record part usage and order replacements using electronic devices.
Assist with relocation and organization of production and office spaces.
Support safety programs and 6S standards.
