Job summary

JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh company, seeks a maintenance technician to perform basic to intermediate upkeep on manufacturing equipment and facilities. The role includes preventive and corrective work, troubleshooting, and supporting plant safety and operations on site.

You will work with CNC and conventional machines, forklifts, robots, HVAC and electrical systems while following 6S standards and PPE requirements. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts, and power tools.
• Intermediate ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical problems on manufacturing equipment including CNC.
• Reading and understanding electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and electrical wiring practices.
• Proficient with CMMS and electrical test/diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair machinery such as CNC and manual machine tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and compressed air systems.
• Service facility systems including HVAC, lighting, sprinklers, plumbing, and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Record materials used and requisition parts using electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, laptops).
• Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
• Support special projects directed by Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
