Job summary

Steffes Solutions, LLC is seeking a paint applicator to apply paint products in accordance with customer specifications and QMS requirements. The role involves using spray and sanding equipment, keeping tools clean, and following standard work and acceptance criteria to ensure quality outcomes.

You will contribute to a safe, collaborative atmosphere while upholding Steffes core values and supporting quality and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of prior work experience in related field.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.).
• Familiarity with HVLP and/or electrostatic guns, pressure pots, and proportioners is a plus.
• Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills.
• An acceptable combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements.
• Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
• Able to use paint spray equipment, sanding equipment, and various hand tools.
• Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment.
• Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
• Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
• Other duties may be assigned.
