Job summary

Steffes in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Paint Technician to apply paint products in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards. You will operate spray equipment, prepare surfaces, and maintain equipment while following standard work and safety procedures.

Additional duties include adherence to build boards, Kanban system requirements, and inspection of finished work. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience applying paint to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to operate spray equipment and perform surface preparation.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to standard work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint products per customer specs and QMS requirements.
• Follow standard work, guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Operate spray equipment, sand surfaces, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Keep spray guns and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Review build boards and Kanban system requirements; report defects.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive work environment and safety.
• Support Steffes’ strategic, quality, and safety objectives.
