Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Material Handler II – Paint in Richmond, VA to support the paint line by loading and unloading metal parts for daily fabrication. This is a 2nd shift position onsite, requiring attention to safety, quality, and timely production.

You will identify parts from work orders, maintain quality standards, and communicate status across shifts while contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 12 months experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the majority of the work day.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload all metal parts required for daily fabrication at the paint line.
• Assist in identifying parts and part descriptions using work order information.
• Develop and maintain the highest quality standard – zero defects; promote a safe work environment.
• Communicate job status between shifts and ensure continuity of work in progress.
