Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Paint Production Engineer in NAM region to lead new model paint initiatives, create design-phase reports, and hand off to regional teams. You will design using 2D/3D CAD tools, develop prototypes, and coordinate with NAMCs and Design to ensure seamless integration and quality.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience with new model introductions, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
Experience supporting new model introduction projects is preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Lead Paint SE new model projects and develop design-phase reports and handoff docs.
Support vehicle structure reviews and evaluate process and equipment designs.
Develop prototypes and drive One-Voice activities between NAMCs and Design.
Utilize 3D technologies for scanning, design, prototype validation, and as-built drawings.
Develop and maintain Paint SE standard check sheets and departmental standards.
Benchmark lessons learned and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
Create 2D/3D models using AutoCAD/CATIA with tolerance stack-up analysis.
Develop and manage schedules for new model and model change projects.
