Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Paint Department Manager to run the full-service Benjamin Moore paint store within our location. You will service professional and retail customers, manage inventory and dispenser maintenance, and supervise store operations including merchandising and safety.

You will train staff on paint SOPs, prospect new professional customers, and support other store areas as needed, coordinating with the outside sales team on orders and leads. Reports to the store manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and basic computer/phone use.
• Ability to tint paint and assist with color matching.

Responsibilities

• Manage paint department and inventory, including dispenser maintenance.
• Service professional and retail customers and support store operations.
• Train staff on standard operating procedures for paint.
• Prospect professional customers within the store and coordinate with outside sales.
