Job summary

Ace Hardware—Thatcher's Ace Hardware—is seeking an outgoing, friendly team member to manage the Paint Department. Previous experience in a paint department is preferred.

Join a locally owned store that prioritizes helping the community and delivering customer-focused service in a fast-paced, fun environment. You will greet customers, help them find everything they need for their projects, and develop sales through customer and contractor relationships.

• Previous experience in a paint department is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• You will be responsible for developing and growing sales through building customer and contractor relationships
• You will be responsible for ordering products for the department
• You will assist in supervising employees working in your department
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift up to 50 lbs.
