Job summary

Sherwin‑Williams is seeking a delivery-focused associate to work with wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend the right products. You will deliver orders from Sherwin‑Williams stores using company vans or pickups, ensuring safety and timely service.

Responsibilities include helping customers, processing transactions, meeting sales goals, maintaining records, loading and unloading items, and keeping the store vehicle serviced.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
• Comply with all laws, traffic regulations, safety procedures, etc., when driving a vehicle
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
