Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery and customer service associate to support wholesale and retail customers by determining needs, answering questions about products, and delivering orders from Sherwin-Williams stores. You will ensure timely, safe transactions and maintain vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in person and by phone, processing sales, tinting/mixing products, and delivering items using company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have at least a “meets expectations” rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and promptly.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules; comply with laws and safety procedures when driving.
• Prepare reports and other delivery-related documents.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts.
