Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Customer Service Specialist for Store #1678 in Rochester, NY. You will assist customers, answer questions about paints and products, and help determine the best solutions to meet their needs. The role includes handling sales, stocking, tinting and occasional deliveries.

Applicants should be at least 18, legally eligible to work, and able to lift up to 70 lbs. Prior retail or delivery experience is valued; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to retrieve items from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs, up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal, must have a 'meets expectations' rating and completed HR Cloud eLearning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent sales service to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies.
• Aim to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain orderly work order files and product formulas.
• Retrieve products from sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products per customer specs.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment and maintain a presentable environment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries.
• Stay informed about products and available options.
• Follow inventory control procedures.
